Plans for PCLGA’s Reindeer Games-Red and Green Match Play Tournament are Underway

Chris Duprey

Andrea Dilger, Sharon Hadley and Layne Sheridan; co-chairs for the Red and Green; have been hard at work planning the Reindeer Games Red and Green Match Play Tournament.

The tournament will be held over two days, Dec. 3 and 4, on Tuscany Falls East and West. A luncheon will be served after play in the Tuscany Ballroom on Dec. 4. The ladies will be enjoying an Italian buffet. At the luncheon, donations will be collected for the New Life Center.

The format for the game is as follows. There will be Match Play between the Red team vs the Green team. Each foursome will have two Red players and two Green players. There is a match between the Red and Green player based on net four ball (best ball) rules. All holes won are aggregated between all Red and Green matches to determine the overall winning team; Red or Green. Winners will have “bragging rights” for the next year.

Participants are encouraged to dress in their team colors and with a holiday theme. Cost for golf and lunch is $30. Please see the website for further details.

In 2018, the Green team beat the Red team by six match points. Will it be Red or Green in 2019?
