PebbleCreek veterans were honored at an appreciation luncheon on Sunday, Nov. 10 in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom. The event, hosted by the PebbleCreek Quilters, was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Goodyear PebbleCreek, PebbleCreek Republican Club, PebbleCreek Democratic Club, PebbleCreek Pickleball Club, Craig Hauger, Certified Financial Planner, Woodbury Financial, and a number of anonymous donors.

Twenty veterans attending the luncheon also received a special appreciation quilt from the PebbleCreek Quilters. Creation of the patriotic, hand-made red, white, and blue quilts was begun this past May with Cynthia Schwartz chairing the project. The veterans receiving the beautiful quilts were nominated by PebbleCreek residents and were clearly moved by the generous and heartfelt gifts.

PebbleCreek residents interested in nominating a veteran for an appreciation quilt next year should contact Cynthia at [email protected] or 201-741-5809.
