The PebbleCreek Republican Club welcomed in the New Year with a large turnout of members and guests on Thursday, January 8 at their monthly meeting. Following a Social Time, during which a number of new members joined bringing the total membership to 345, the meeting began at 7:00 p.m.

Speakers from the Arizona House were Steve Montenegro, newly elected House Majority Leader, who presented excellent and timely information on the many aspects of Arizona governance, and Darin Mitchell, House Ways and Means Chairman, who gave a very informative presentation on the numerous state issues under his leadership. A long Q & A period followed regarding the 2015 Legislative Session.

The next meeting is Thursday, February 5 in the Tuscany Ballroom and the speaker will be A.J. LaFaro, Past Chairman of the Arizona Maricopa Republican Committee. The March 6 meeting details will be announced shortly as well as information about the very popular annual Picnic Lunch on April 2.

Meetings are open to all members and their invited guests. If members would like to bring guests, email Camille Grabb at [email protected] and there will be a name tag waiting for them. Membership renewal and new member forms are always available inside the door and the annual $15 dues can be paid at that time or by contacting Membership Chairman Terry Roth at [email protected] in advance. Also, there will be voter registration forms for those who have moved, are new voters, or have changed parties.

The PCRC has an exciting lineup of speakers and programs for 2015 and looks forward to welcoming its members and guests for current information and updates on your State and Local Arizona government.
