On March 26, the Lady Niners announced the season winners at the annual Spring Fling. The theme of the Spring Fling Tournament was Olé. The event, planned by Betty Thompson and Pam Morrison, was a team competition followed by a taco bar in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom. The golf pros were recognized and thanked by the Niners. Winners were announced for the Senior Legacy Tournament, the Club Championship, Most Improved Player and the Medallion.
Senior Legacy
Winners were Yvonne Paris (low gross) and Judy Myers (low net). Flight One winner was Bonnie Bruce and Flight Two winner was Carol Hahn.
Club Championship
Winners were Char Morrow (low gross) and Diane Norgaard (low net). Pam Grimwood was the most improved player. Winners were awarded in eight flights. Flight A: Yvonne Paris, Flight B: Susan Cox, Flight C: Alberta Hohn, Flight D: Connie Peterson, Flight E: Cathi Helman, Flight F: Diane Schutt, Flight G: Jeannie Sherlock, Flight H: Thelma Svoboda.
Medallion Winners
Winners to play in next year’s Medallion Tournament were low gross Char Morrow, Sue Byers and Diane Norgaard and low net Diane Briggs, Alberta Hohn and Jan Estrada.
