PebbleCreek Gun Club – Divas: promoting PebbleCreek women in using firearms for self-defense and enjoying all forms of recreational shooting.

Some ladies, living alone in PebbleCreek, would be very interested in learning to use a handgun for self-defense; the Divas would be the perfect group to join.

Also, about 50 members of the PebbleCreek Gun Club are ladies and yet there is no group that focuses on all the various issues associated with women shooting. In response to this need, a new group within the PebbleCreek Gun Club has been formed to address such needs. This group is called the PebbleCreek Gun Club – Divas.

Patt Luhmann (623-561-2384 [email protected]) and Toni Hoskins (310-493-2207 [email protected]) will be serving as the co-coordinators for the PebbleCreek Gun Club – Divas, which is the ladies group within the PebbleCreek Gun Club which focuses on women’s shooting. Please contact Patt or Toni to join.

Shooters, such as Tasha Hanish, two time U.S. National Three Gun (pistol, shotgun and AR 15 rifle) Champion who lives in Cave Creek, Arizona, will come to conduct classes and training for the Divas.

Some of the activities for the Divas will be the following:

1. Take a Refuse to Be a Victim Seminar

2. Take a basic handgun class (NRA First STEPS Pistol Orientation Class)

3. Get assistance in choosing a handgun to buy.

4. Acquire an Arizona CCW for concealed carry in Arizona and 35 other states.

5. Learn to disassemble, clean and reassemble their pistol.

6. Take shooting classes from a lady national champion.

7. Take tactical training based on reality scenarios.

8. Learn about shooting gear that women buy and more—the coordinators will also be learning just like the rest of the Divas.

Matt Dyer, who is our NRA certified pistol instructor, will teach the NRA Refuse to Be a Victim (RTBAV) Seminar and the NRA First STEPS Pistol Orientation classes; each student will receive an NRA certificate when they complete these classes.
