PebbleCreek Community Church begins another season of Bible studies

Mary McFarland

Again this year, PebbleCreek Community Church offers a wide range of Bible studies that are open to everyone. Some study groups are for women, some are for men and some include both men and women. Topics include books of the Bible, women in the Bible, prayer and living a Christian life. Most Bible studies will begin in late October or November.

The quickest way to get details on our Bible study classes is to check out our PebbleCreek Community Church website at www.pebblecreekchurch.org. You may also email Mary McFarland, chair of our education committee, at [email protected].

With the fall season upon us, attendance at our 9:00 a.m. Sunday services is swelling. Each Sunday we turn our Eagle’s Nest Ballroom into a Christian sanctuary – all are welcome to join in our one-hour services followed by social gathering. Prior to the church service, Phylice Walton leads a Bible study at 8:00 a.m. in the Palm Room. She welcomes new attendees.

Other Bible studies are conducted in homes in PebbleCreek by both lay and clergy members of our congregation. The diversity of people within our community provides opportunity for varied and lively discussion accompanied by social time together with common focus on Christian beliefs.

This fall Pastor Dennis Kizziar will be leading a four-week study on the claims of Christianity. The class is open to anyone who would like to learn more about basic Christianity and what it means to be a Christian. If you are interested in more information concerning the content, time, date and location of this class, please email Pastor Kizziar at [email protected] or call him at 623-455-3435.
