PebbleCreek Car Club news

This 1986 Indy Pace Car is owned by Frank Castillo, one of our founding members of the PebbleCreek Classic Car Club. Frank is the original owner of this gem, which is metallic gold, one of a rare few convertibles this color; 1986 is the only year Corvettes were painted metallic gold. It is a treat to see this car entered in a show; it is all original with 10,000 miles on the speedometer!

Winter in The Valley of the Sun brings out the car enthusiasts and our PebbleCreek Car Club members are no different. Four car shows in January including two saluting veterans are a big draw. In addition to car shows with huge admiring crowds, the annual car auctions are pleasers. The largest auction is Barrett-Jackson which is dubbed the World’s Greatest Collector Car Auction held at Westworld of Scottsdale January 12–20. Two additional auctions enjoyed by our members are Russo-Steele at the Salt River Field and Silver held at the Peoria Sports Complex. Our members are looking forward to assisting our neighbors at Cruiz’n to the Lakes show hosted by the Estrella Car Club at Estrella Mountain on March 23. This show is always a good one with cars parked around the lake. We have plans for upcoming drive and dines to various valley venues. It promises to be a spring on the fast track. The PebbleCreek Car Club meets the first Monday of each month in the Tuscany Capri room at 7:00 p.m. For additional information, you are invited to call President Charlie Miller at 623-764-6011.
