PCSSA makes the news

Fred Dresser

News flash! PebbleCreek Senior Softball Association (PCSSA) appeared on Channels Three and Five news broadcasts in January. It seems that your senior softball league is a league that all PebbleCreekers can be proud of. Not only were players interviewed but the broadcasts also showed the viewing audience what a tremendous Field of Dreams these players and spectators have in this community.

If you haven’t been down to the field to take in a game stop by any Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday to experience not only the competitiveness but the camaraderie that makes this league what it is. The current season will end at the end of March.

Speaking of the field, it takes quite a bit of sweat to keep this field in pristine playing condition. At this time, we would like to thank our Director of Field Maintenance, Jan Hangen, for the hours he spends to keep this field in top condition.

In February, the PCSSA held its annual golf tournament at Eagle’s Nest. More on this outing in the next issue of the PebbleCreek Post.
