Having survived the Labor Day weekend, the PebbleCreek Men’s Niners competed in a Hi/Low Tournament on September 7.
The format required each hole’s team score to be the combination of the team’s highest gross score and lowest gross score.
The first place team with a score of 72 was made up of Rick Goodwin, Jack Tulaba and Dick Rippe. The second place team was Tim Mohler, Don Drummond and Gil Butson. (Both first and second place teams had a blind draw as a fourth player.) In third place was the team of Fred Schmidt, Jim Quattrone, Larry Gleason and Rich Rogers tied with the team of Mike D’Onofrio, Bill Fenster, Chuck Hendrickson and Dave Wattenberg.
Closest to the Pin Honors went to Don Drummond for Hole No. 12 and Barry Taschner for Hole No. 17.
PCM9GA members are looking forward to the overseeding season where we will be playing at Falcon Dunes, Hillcrest, Coyote Lakes and the Sun City Golf Club in October. Guests are welcome.
