On March 20 and 21, the PCM9GA held its annual Member-Guest Tournament on the Tuscany Falls Links at PebbleCreek. This two-day event provided a combination of team play in several formats: a two-day 18-hole team event; a two-day 9-hole team event; and an 18-hole Putting Skills Challenge. This year’s event had a special charity target in mind. The Luke Spouses’ Club (at Luke AFB) is a multi-dimensional non-profit that connects to a variety of needs for our service men and women. The PCM9GA BOD met with LSC President Chris Wendall and her staff several months ago reviewing a number of the programs this organization shepherds. Through CY 2017-2018, LSC coordinated donations greater than $30,000 to their charitable causes. Of that total, LSC provided ten, $1500 college scholarships to military dependents. PCM9GA felt the Scholarship fund was an area it could support and help increase. To that end, PCM9GA will donate four, $1500 college scholarships to the LSC, as a result of this year’s Member-Guest Tournament and be recognized at a dinner April 25, at Luke AFB for its efforts.

PCM9GA thanks all its sponsors and golfers who donated to this exceptional cause and helped us increase the level of scholarships for worthy military dependents.

In between two days with sumptuous meals, camaraderie and tall tales of golf shots that only the most skillful professionals could have made, many of our Member-Guest participants walked away with gift cards for their golfing prowess. Here are the results:
