A very special PCLGA event is coming up during the month of January 2017:

January 17, 2017 – Cancer Awareness Tournament; Co-Chairs Ellen Stergulz and Linda Glazar. The Cancer Awareness Tournament is always a very proud moment for the PCLGA. Co-Chairpersons Ellen Stergulz and Linda Glazar are working to make this a very special day. Pink Power is the theme and the format is make your own foursome.

As in previous years, this charitable event is a chance for the PCLGA members to show their generosity and contribute to a very worthy cause in several ways: by donating baskets for raffle prizes, purchasing 50/50 tickets, making monetary donations and/or purchasing pinwheels from Pam Volm for $5 each upon which names of cancer victims and survivors will be written and an honor garden formed on the putting green. All monies collected will be accumulated and contributed to the National Foundation for Cancer Research which benefits all types of cancer. It’s a wonderful day of golf, remembrance, friendship and charity. Sign up for this event as soon as it appears on the website and let’s fill the room with raffle baskets and the putting green with flowers. It’s all for a good cause and another fun tournament with friends.
