Early on January 29, club members boarded a comfortable bus for the drive to the historic mining town of Telluride for a week of great skiing. Last year might have been an El Nino year but 2017 has brought even more snow to the mountains. Timing of the trip was great so the bus had no issues on the scenic drive up and skiers were treated to abundant snow and several days of sunshine. Great skiing, great food and great camaraderie were enjoyed by all. PebbleCreek does not have a ski club but membership in VSSC is open to skiers from all parts of Arizona, as well as other states, and requires just a short ride north on Loop 303. Club meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month in the Webb Room at the SCW Foundation, 14465 W. RH Johnson Boulevard, Sun City West. Visit the club website at www.ski.scwclubs.com for more information or contact Mary Ann Vangelisti at 623-214-6659.
