Although PebbleCreek doesn’t have a ski club, many PebbleCreek skiers belong to Valley of the Sun Ski Club (VSSC) which has approximately 140 members. VSSC offers reasonably priced trips to some of the best ski areas in the West and on January 13, forty-eight members and guests arrived in Aspen for a great week of skiing. The group enjoyed lots of sun, fresh powder, good food and camaraderie. On-slope accommodations provided easy access to ski runs and El Nino helped with two days of fresh powder, great for skiers and downstream recipients of Colorado River water. VSSC provides a great opportunity to ski and socialize with other active adults with similar interests and is just a short drive on Loop 303 to the Sun City West Foundation, SW corner of Stardust and RH Johnson Blvd. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month; visit the club website at www.ski.scwclubs.com for more information.
