PebbleCreek Singles learn to Square Dance at their Oktoberfest.

Remember in the fifth grade and you learned how to Square Dance in the gymnasium?

Well, all those fond memories came flooding back for me last Sunday, the ninth of October! The PebbleCreek Singles sponsored their first, ever, Square Dance/Pot Luck Oktoberfest in the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom! Everyone brought something yummy to share, so there was a lot to eat, from chili to cheesecake!

After we ate, the Square Dancing began! Most everyone got the hang of it, thanks to our caller David Grishm who was very patient with us! All in all it was a “Yee-Haw” fun-filled night!

If you’re hankerin’ to meet new people and make new friends, try new food and have lots of fun, come check us out! There are so many activities and pre-planned events each month like touring the Cerreta Candy Company, holiday double-decker bus tour through Glendale, Wii bowling, golf, Bocce Ball, three game nights, Pictionary, Happy Hours at different venues each month, four Pub Quiz nights, once a month during the summer, and so many more I can’t list them all!

Our monthly club meetings are held in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom on the first Sunday of every month. The doors open at 2:00 p.m. with new member sign-ups beginning at 2:15 p.m. Members begin arriving at 2:30 p.m. to sign up for scheduled events and activities, with the meeting starting promptly at 3:00 p.m. Then join us at a local designated restaurant following the meeting.

You can also go to our user-friendly website: PebbleCreekSingles.com for more information about us. Still need one-on-one help? Contact our Vice President Rhissa Pontrelli at: [email protected].

So, don’t sit around all alone twiddling your thumbs! Make your way over to the next meeting, November 6! We’ll be waiting to meet you!
