It was an exciting Aug. 12 afternoon—Senator Martha McSally came to the West Valley. The event was held in the Bullard Wash Amphitheater. Over 100 members from PebbleCreek Republican Club, LD13, and LD4 braved 113-degree heat to hear her plans to Keep Arizona Red. She also led us in singing God Bless America. Senator McSally stayed to sign her book and some of her yard signs. We were also delighted to have Congresswoman Debbie Lesko stop by. Congresswoman Lesko shared her experiences in the U.S. House of Representatives and talked about important issues in Washington D.C. She is a member of the House Judiciary, House Rules, and House Homeland Security Committees. Debbie Lesko also serves as the Co-Chair of the Congressional Caucus for Women’s Issues. Arizona Senator Sine Kerr, Arizona House Representatives Joanne Osborne and Tim Dunn performed the opening ceremonies, introduced Senator McSally, and asked her questions that had been submitted by the crowd.

On Aug. 21, members from our club joined with other Patriots to welcome the Official Team Trump Campaign Bus to the Trump Victory Office in Phoenix. Matt Whitaker, former acting United States Attorney General; Jeff DeWit, former Arizona Treasurer, and now chief operating officer of the Donald Trump 2020 Presidential campaign; and current Arizona Treasurer Kimberly Yee, emerged from the bus to talk with the crowd.

On Sept. 2, a group of women who are members of the PebbleCreek Republican Club traveled to Phoenix to see The Women for Trump Bus. Onboard a pink Trump bus was Senator Martha McSally, Republican Party of Arizona Chair Kelli Ward, Arizona GOP first vice-chair Pam Kirby and Mercedes Schlapp, a senior adviser for Trump’s re-election campaign. Senator McSally spoke about issues facing women in America and specific topics pertaining to Arizona.

The PebbleCreek Republican Club provides an environment for Republican fellowship and discussion, and to serve as an educational forum for Republican ideas and principles. Due to gathering restrictions in PebbleCreek’s facilities, monthly meetings that are usually held in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom are on hold. If you are interested in joining the club, contact Linda Kesselman, Membership Chair, at [email protected]. You can also visit www.pebblecreekrepublicanclub.com for information about the club.
