Eight members of the PebbleCreek Hiking Club did a hike in nearby Skyline Regional Park on September 5. Members hiking that day included (left to right): Joe Clarkson (hike leader), Linda Vaughn, Dave Schuldt, Dennis Zigmunt, Wayne McKinney, Roger Sanders, Lynn Warren (photographer) and Pete Williams. A small number of club members can handle the heat and like to hike during the summer season. For everyone else, the club’s regular hiking season is late September to early May. We do three levels of hikes – D level (4 to 5 miles, 300 to 500 feet of elevation gain), C level (5 to 8 miles, 600 to 1200 feet) and B level (9 to 12+ miles, 1300 to 3300 feet). Hikes can be as close as Verrado or as far away as Prescott and Sedona. To learn more about the club, please join us at one of our regular club meetings at 7:00 p.m. on the Third Thursday of each month in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom or visit our website at pchikers.org.

The club does 8 to 9 hikes a week with at least one hike every weekday. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month (September through April) at 7:00 p.m. in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom.
