All Billiard Club play ceased by March 16 with the closure of Tuscany Falls but on March 12, just before the shutdown, players from PebbleCreek headed north on Loop 303 to Vistancia for the first in what was planned to be a series of 8-ball matches between teams from the two communities.

At PebbleCreek, players are accustomed to playing on 8-ft tables so maybe playing on the 9-foot, top-of-the-line Brunswick Gold Crown tables at Vistancia intimidated our team. We made a respectable showing, but unfortunately came in second, losing 14-13. Although our team lost, it was an enjoyable experience and a nice opportunity to interact with residents of another resort community. Hopefully, the pandemic will soon end so that the series of inter-community matches can resume.
