Lee Suzanne Walker
Lee Suzanne Walker, 73, passed away in the loving arms of her husband on May 3, 2014. Born and raised in Grand Island, Nebraska, on June 5, 1940, to Lawrence Edward and Ruth Lee Baron. Lee graduated from Grand Island Senior High with honors. Early on she taught dance lessons for Billie Anderon and then worked at the KRGI radio station where she had her own late night show. She was business manager for a sports motivational speaker. Most recently she assisted her husband in the automobile business. Lee was a wonderful cook. She loved music and was a tremendous baseball enthusiast. She was a member of the PebbleCreek Dance Club and Bocce Ball Association. Lee is survived by her husband Joe, daughters Lisa Binko, Lori Williams and Kim Hass, sister Carolyn Furhberg, six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Lee will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her. Memorial services were May 9 at Thompson Funeral Chapel in Goodyear, Arizona.
