Chapter DM, P.E.O., is presenting our fifth scholarship benefit, Books ‘n Lunch, to be held at Christ Presbyterian Church, 925 N. Sarival Avenue on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at 11:30 a.m. Many members of Chapter DM reside in PebbleCreek.

This year we will have two speakers. Rhys Bowen is a New York Times best-selling author and winner of an Agatha Best Novel Award. She has written three series of novels: The Royal Spyness Series, Molly Murphy Mysteries and Constable Evans. She has also written many short stories, children’s books and young adult novels. She was born in England and now divides her time between California and Arizona. We look forward to having this accomplished author as one of our speakers. Anne A. Wilson was born and raised in Phoenix. She is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and spent nine years on active duty as a Navy helicopter pilot. After three years of sea duty, she flew search and rescue missions in Nevada and is credited with saving 31 lives. She currently owns a triathlon coaching business with her husband in Scottsdale. Hover is her debut novel. It is an action packed novel about Sara Denning, a Navy helicopter pilot. This promises to be a very interesting presentation.

The cost of the lunch and presentation is $25. Ticket sales are from January 12 to February 22, 2016. To order tickets call Sandy Garvey at 623-518-9727, Susan Evans at 623-535-1379 evenings only and Jackie Abel at 623-535-7426.
