From sizzling bratwurst to the serenade of a polka band, our banquets and catering team brought all-things German to their first ever Oktoberfest on Sept. 22. “We didn’t exactly manage a full-blown German beer hall in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom,” laughed Crystal Thomas, Director of banquets and catering, “but we came pretty close!”

The menu included authentic German jagerschnitzel, porter-braised bratwurst, Sheboygan knockwurst, buttermilk spinach spaetzle, several vegetable side dishes, traditional German desserts, and, of course, lots of beer tasting. Music was provided by Das Lederhosen polka band and DJ Ray Mar.

Oktoberfest party-goer Cynthia Schwartz enthused, “We had a wonderful time at the Oktoberfest. The food was absolutely fabulous, especially the apple strudel and German chocolate cake. We danced the night away with our friends and will plan on attending in 2020!”

“We had such a good time at Oktoberfest ourselves, we plan to do it again next year,” promised Crystal.
