We hope everyone is enjoying his or her summer. Your Shalom Club has planned some outstanding activities for the coming months. On September 24 approximately 35 people have signed up to attend the musical, In the Heights. Winner of the 2008 Tony Awards, this show is expected to be a real extravaganza, performing at the Phoenix Theatre.
Hermine Sulzberg will offer a culinary class (October 18) for men and women in her home called Knish Klass. The cost of this wonderful class is only $5 per person.
The month of November also brings many exciting events. On November 6 at 1:00 p.m. join fellow members for an afternoon of cards and games in the Palm Room at Eagle’s Nest.
Once again Phil Zeidman has organized a golf outing at Palm Valley Golf Club. This event takes place on November 7 at 8:00 a.m. For questions contact Phil.
Finally, on November 13 we are getting together with Shalom Club Sun City. What a great way to get to meet new people! A delicious meal will be served; you can play bocce, horseshoes or just relax. Individuals must provide their own tables and chairs. The cost is $20 per person.
