News from the PebbleCreek Shalom Club

Laurie Rosenbloom

This Passover marks another year with a delightful Seder. Thank you, Sandy and David Mednick, for officiating the services. Your services offer the traditional blessings and rituals while involving all of our Shalom Club members and guests. You provide such a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Also, we’d like to thank Ricki and Howard Isador and their committee for planning this event.

It’s not too late to join the book discussion group scheduled for Friday, April 13. Judy Ruck will lead the group as they discuss, The Muralist by B.A. Shapiro. This is a story about Alizee Benoit, a young American painter. She mysteriously vanishes in 1940 while working for the Works Progress Administration in NYC. Read the book to find out how her great niece, Danielle Abrams, discovers the secrets that may have happened to her aunt many years ago.

Steve Shaffer led the March movie discussion focusing on the Oscars awarded on March 4.
