The PC Shalom Club participated in virtual High Holiday (HH) services led by Rabbi David Mayer, who has been HH services leader for many years. Three hour-long services allowed for the yearly celebration, including hearing the blowing of the shofar. Kudos go to the High Holiday committee for making it all happen during these challenging times.
Judy Ruck is bringing back the popular PC Shalom Club book club and is moving forward with plans for a virtual meeting via Zoom. Time and book selection will be announced. For information, contact Judy at [email protected].
It is now approaching the time of year when we begin planning elections for the board terms that end in January. Carl Schatz will be stepping down as president. Social Events Chairperson Jill Burnham, Vice-President Judy Ruck, and Hospitality and Member Updates Chairperson Marsha Taplin have offered to continue in their positions but are looking for some volunteers to be available for assistance.
