Marcellino’s cooking demonstration

Ken Minichiello

Buon Appetito! That’s what the group from the Italian American Club experienced at Chef Marcellino’s ristorante as we watched and tasted what he prepared for our luncheon meal; fettucine pasta with a Bolognese sauce.

Watching Chef Marcellino prepare this wonderful meal was like enjoying the music of a symphony conducted by the very best! Add a glass of Italian wine on top of that and walla!

Like a typical chef, a pinch of this, a pinch of that and maybe a handful of something else and you have a miracle creation; maybe not an exact science but boy does is taste wonderful!

Chef Marcellino says it best, “My food is a culmination of my life’s history, my passion and desire to produce truthful, undiluted Italian cuisine ‘alla Marcellino.’” No one could better authenticate this to be true Italian food but Dino Cervigni; our highly loved and respected Italian American Club member and retired university professor of Italian Culture and Language, born and raised in Italy, who said after eating this wonderful meal, “This was true Italian food that you would expect to get in Italy.” What better testimonial?
