Lady Niners announce awards

Spring Fling for the Lady Niners is a special occasion where awards are given out for Club Champion, Low Net Winner and Most Improved Player. Medallion qualifiers are announced as well as the results of the election of officers for the next year. The theme for this year’s event, planned by Betty Thompson and Kayleen Herrema, was Cherry Blossom Spring Fling. The Niners gathered after golf for the awards and appetizers in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom. The day also included the first day of the new Senior Legacy Tournament.

Judi Williams is the new Club Champion. Pam Grimwood is the Low Net Winner and Monika Charlesworth is this year’s Most Improved Player. Newly elected officers are Barb Hockert, President; Norma Guillaume, President Elect; Nancy Burton, secretary; and Lorene Greer, treasurer. Their term begins June 1 and goes through May 31, 2019. Medallion qualifiers were announced. They will represent the PebbleCreek Lady Niners at the annual AWGA Tournament in January of 2019. Low gross qualifiers are Judi Williams, Bonnie Bruce and Donna Liddle. Low net qualifiers are Jeannie Sherlock, Mary McConaughey and Pam Grimwood.

In addition to club champion, awards were announced for flight winners. Flight A: Bonnie Bruce, Nancy MacKellar and Bobbie Wagner. Flight B: Cherri Baxter, Patti Engelhardt and Gwen Rothwell. Flight C: Judy Myers, Diane Norgaard and Connie Peterson. Flight D: Pam Grimwood, Mary McConaughey and Diana Bedwell. Flight E: Ruth Ann Mitchell, Sandy Wold and Diane Rottman. Flight F: Monika Charlesworth, Judy Romano and Sue Tearpak. Flight G: Kay Daugherty, Christa Smith and Lorna Lincoln. Flight H: Ann Rohlman, Lee Lanan and Cindy Gramm.
