PebbleCreek Lady Niners assisted the Millennium High School girls golf team by volunteering at their annual Roar Classic golf tournament on Sept. 13 and 14.

A big thanks to Lynn Bishop-Pidcock and Charlotte Krause for organizing the volunteers.

The Roar Classic was held on the Tuscany Falls East Golf Course, and the girls played 18 holes each day. This is the third year for the event, and each year it has grown. This year, there were 78 golfers from 18 high schools. It is one of the few tournaments in the west valley for high school girls.

First place was won by Cactus Shadows, second place was Ironwood Ridge, and Millennium High School earned third place. This was the first year that Millennium has placed in their own tournament. The top four individuals were Calynne Rosholt from Cactus Shadows, Mattison Frick from Liberty, Zoe Newell from Ironwood Ridge, and Maddie Laux from Millennium.

The PebbleCreek Lady Niners really enjoyed assisting with the tournament and chatting with the girls as they transported them between the front and back nine.
