As part of Kare Bears Wellness program, we are pleased to invite you to the annual Health Fair. The fair will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. to noon in the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom. This is an excellent program for all PebbleCreek residents, especially if you are new to PebbleCreek. There is no charge to attend this event.
The fair will consist of approximately 55 professional doctors, dentists, chiropractors, orthopedic specialists and health service specialists. Some of these include the following:
IMS Cardiology participants will perform CIMT – Carotid Intima-Media Thickness tests. This scan is a noninvasive ultrasound to detect vascular disease and cardiovascular risk. It is a 10 minute free test that is a $250 value. Also, Dr. Sumar will offer information on CAD. Dr. Moon, Dr. Murray and Dr. Nag from IMS Cardiology will also attend the fair to answer questions. Dr. Jeffrey Alpern, Vein Specialists of Arizona, will do vein scans. The Lions Club will have eye testing by an ophthalmologist. Blood pressure testing will be done by PebbleCreek Nurses. Several senior living and assisted living facilities will be in attendance with information. There will be information for everyone’s special needs, some of which will be breast cancer, prostate cancer and colon cancer. These are just a few of the many specialists and service company participants.
