J.A. Jance to speak at P.E.O. event

Chapter DM, P.E.O. is presenting our fourth scholarship benefit, Books ‘N Lunch, to be held at Christ Presbyterian Church, 925 North Sarival Avenue on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at 11:30 a.m. Chapter DM includes many PebbleCreek residents.

P.E.O is a Women’s Philanthropic Educational Organization that raises money for women’s scholarships and grants in the United States and also internationally. Our speaker this year is the New York Times bestselling author J.A. Jance. She was raised in Bisbee, Arizona, and is a graduate of the University of Arizona. Before becoming an author, she worked as a school librarian on a Native American Reservation, as a teacher and she sold insurance. She has written fifty novels in the last thirty years. She will be introducing her newest novel, Cold Betrayal, at the luncheon. She has written three series of novels, centering on retired Seattle Police Department officer J.P. Beaumont, Arizona county sheriff Joanna Brady set in southeastern Arizona and the series featuring Ali Reynolds that takes place in Sedona. In addition J.A. Jance has written four thrillers.
