Italian-American plant appitito in the Olive Garden

Jim Roberts

The October monthly luncheon for the Italian-American Club had 25 members park their appetites squarely in the back room of the Olive Garden Italian Restaurant. Our gracious hosts, Stu and Sheila Millendorf, were there to greet us as we arrived. The Millendorfs were pitching right in, helping our club and doing a great job of it.

The Olive Garden, one of the better chains in our area, was indeed packed, and for good reason. Everyone enjoyed their lunch. Lots of salads and breadsticks came out. My favorite is the Pasta e Fagioli, but it was all good. We will definitely come back to the Goodyear Olive Garden. The service at the Olive Garden wa.ery professional and well done.

President Ken Minichiello took the floor to announce there will be no Italian-American Lunch in November. Instead, there was a dinner at Ada’s Fish Fry on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. hosted by Ken and Carolyn Minichiello.
