Ronald T. Bennewate
Ronald T. Bennewate was born November 15, l935 in Chicago, Illinois to Gladstone Benjamin Bennewate and Nellie Sheedy Bennewate. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 1, 2017. Upon graduation from Hinsdale High School, Hinsdale, Illinois, Ron joined the Marines. Upon his discharge, he used his GI bill to get his Bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University. Ron worked for IBM in both Tucson and Phoenix. After IBM, Ron went into commercial real estate. He ended his working career as the District Manager for the Grubb and Ellis Commercial Brokerage office in Phoenix, Arizona. He then retired to PebbleCreek in Goodyear, Arizona. Ron was predeceased by his parents and his brothers, Robert and John and his sister Patricia. He is survived by his wife Barbara, his daughters, Tammy Lake (Steve) and Karen Monnell (Mark), grandchildren and great grandchildren. DeForest “De” Frisbie
DeForest “De” Frisbie, age 81, of Goodyear, Arizona died August 29, 2017. He was born October 15, 1935 in Hempstead, New York to DeForest Frisbie and Katherine Rafferty. He served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1962 as a Paratrooper achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. De was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Lions Club International and the Moose Lodge. He is survived by his wife Mary Lou Frisbie, daughters Therese Alexus and Michelle Hart, sons DeForest Frisbie, Jr. and Donald Frisbie, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 22, 2017, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 13720 W. Thomas Road, Avondale, Arizona.
