Finding Joy in Life Style Changes – Grief Sharing Classes

Tom Clark

The PebbleCreek Community Church Chaplains Ministry will once again be conducting a six-week session for individuals who have recently lost loved ones and are trying to adjust to their new lifestyle changes. These sessions are designed to help people with questions and concerns learn to handle difficult times and events. They provide an opportunity for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one to share their feeling with others, learn more about the grieving process, and discuss how to help direct thoughts and actions during this difficult time.

Grief is a natural response to loss. It is the emotional suffering we feel when someone we love is taken away. Often the pain of loss can feel overwhelming, and coping with the loss of someone we love is one of life’s biggest challenges. Finding Joy in Life Changes is a six-week class designed to help people work through the grieving process. The sessions will be held each Tuesday afternoon from 3 to 4:30 p.m. starting Feb. 18 in the Kare Bear House. The subject requires that attendance be limited. Please contact PebbleCreek residents Tom and Joan Clark for more information or to reserve a space: [email protected]; 262-442-9973.

We encourage anyone in our community who has suffered from a recent loss of a loved one to consider participating in this group. The sessions are open to all PebbleCreek residents. People who have participated in our past sessions have expressed how much these sessions have helped them travel through the grief process and learn how to function more confidently in a new way.

PebbleCreek Community Church is a non-denominational church that meets in the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom each Sunday morning at 9 a.m. We welcome all who would like to experience a friendly church for a scripture-based worship service followed by a time of fellowship. www.churchpcc.org.
