Thursday nights at Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse, the Euchre Players can be found ready and waiting about 6:30 p.m. for Bill Halte to deliver his famous line, “Deal them up!” promptly at 7:00 p.m. By then, all have paid one dollar toward prize money and have chosen their partners.
Good to see Sandy and Larry Blackburn back at play. Nice to know that Lorinne Banister is now retired and able to be at PC full time!
1st place winners were as follows: Mike Prevendar had the highest score last month…77 points! Wow! Bob Ferro, scored 69 and then scored 62 on two evenings of play and Jerry Fox and Bill Todd also came in with scores of 62.
2nd place winners: Bill Forshaw did well with a 68, Serita and Alex Elijew each had a 60 and Dan Uklesbay’s 56 was good enough to be “in the money.”
3rd place winners: Lorinne Banister 61, Muriel Milewski 59, Jim Hundt 55, Mike Prevendar 54.
Loners: Sandy Blackburn, Keith Charlesworth, Carol Hanely, Mary Ann O’Brien, Rosemary Rulka…had 4; Carol Hanely and Mike Prevendar 3.
Low scorers for the month, but good sports are, Bill Callahan 38, Rosemary Rulka and Monika Charlesworth 39 and Gil Butson 30.
