Ellen Enright scores an ace

Ellen Enright scores her first hole-in-one!

Wow! What a great way to check-off a “bucket list” item! Ellen Enright used her pitching wedge to score her very first hole-in-one on the 96-yard Eagle’s Nest No. 17, Thursday, April 25. Witnesses to Ellen’s great shot were Karen Vagley and Jackie Christianson.

Ellen has been a very active and involved member of the PebbleCreek Ladies Golf Association (PCLGA) since joining in 2013. She is our photographer extraordinaire who artfully and skillfully documents all the PCLGA events! Also, Ellen serves as co-captain of the PCLGA Roadrunner Travel Team and is a member of the Fairway Friends, a “just for fun” golf group.

Ellen and her spouse, Jeff Furnia, purchased their PebbleCreek home in 2011 and became full-time Creeker’s four years ago. She is from the Chicago area and retired in 2013 after 33 years in the mortgage industry, and of course, “loves her Cubbies”! Ellen stated that retirement is even better than she imagined and PebbleCreek is definitely “our happy place.” She loves traveling with Jeff, finding new places to explore in this awesome state and trying to see all of the National Parks of the West, while enjoying golf, pickleball, camping, hiking, biking and making pictures—whew!

Congratulations, Ellen, on your first hole-in-one!
