Eighth annual K9 Unit Charity Golf Tournament

Jim Ellison, President, The Pet Companions Club of PebbleCreek

The eighth annual charity golf tournament in support of the City of Goodyear Police Department K9 Unit is just days away. The Pet Companion’s Club is hosting this event taking place Saturday, February 17, 2018, on the Tuscany Falls/Palms Course (1:00 p.m. shotgun). Cost of this event is $85/player ($50/player for homeowners with a PebbleCreek Golf Players Card).

Team sign-up forms and additional details are still available at both pro shops. You can also download the form from the homepage of the Pet Companions Club website www.pcpets.org. The Pet Companions Club is working with our K9 police officers and the pro shop to ensure this is a fun charitable event and we hope that you will participate. Best of all, you can all go home knowing that you took the time to support such a worthy cause in the community.

In addition to the funds raised from the golf tournament itself, we will again have a 50-25-25 raffle. All funds received from this fundraiser will be used to provide training and equipment for our wonderful Goodyear K9 Teams.

For those who are unable to play, please come out and meet our Goodyear K9 Officers and their canine partners. A live K9 demonstration will take place beginning at noon near the Tuscany patio. We will also be selling GYPD-K9 t-shirts on the patio to help raise extra money this year, so don’t forget to stop by and show your support.
