Converting a ballroom into a chapel

Keith Easley

We at PebbleCreek Community Church are fortunate to be able to use Eagle’s Nest Ballroom as our house of worship on Sunday mornings and as a place for other special services and fellowship events. This weekly conversion from ballroom to chapel not only saves us the expenses and frustrations of owning and managing a remote church building, but also allows us the opportunity to use PebbleCreek’s beautiful facilities in return for monthly rent payments.

Early risers and thoughtful Trustees convert the ballroom into our house of worship every Sunday morning. While PebbleCreek maintenance sets up the back tables and chairs for our members, guests and choir, our volunteer Trustees set up a cross, banners, communion table and hymnal racks. Next, the Trustees spread pamphlets, sign-up sheets, reading materials and DVDs on the back tables. One of the most important set-up duties is, of course, making the coffee for our friendly fellowship gathering that follows each service.

Please join us on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. and see the conversion of our wonderful Eagle’s Nest Ballroom. For more about our PebbleCreek Community Church, check out our website at www.pebblecreekchurch.org.
