Community service a big part of PC Singles Club mission

As the new year begins, the PebbleCreek Singles Club will be experiencing a number of changes, including a new slate of officers and a new website.

One thing that will remain constant, however, is the group’s strong commitment to giving back to the community. Since its inception 22 years ago, the PC Singles Club has raised money for local charities and volunteered in numerous capacities to help the less fortunate.

At the first meeting of the new year, President Judy Maloney will officially announce the charity the club will be supporting in 2019.

PC Singles is a social (not a dating) club and was organized by a small group of visionaries to meet the unique needs of a growing single population in the community. At the end of 2018, the club consisted of 200 members. All single residents of PebbleCreek, including renters and snowbirds, are welcome to join.

The next meeting will be held on Sunday, December 6. New member registration begins at 2:15 p.m., and the general meeting will be called to order promptly at 3:00 p.m. A social hour in the adjacent Long Drive Lounge will follow the meeting.
