Cabela’s expert gun appraiser at Gun Club meeting

Susan Knox Wilson

Is there a potential gold mine in your gun cabinet? Here’s your chance to hear from an expert on how guns are appraised and valued for insurance and resale purposes. Learn more about your treasures from Dave Dill, a gun appraiser expert from Cabela’s Gun Library, at the next PebbleCreek Gun Club meeting, Monday, March 5, at 4:00 p.m. in the Chianti Room. The meeting is open to all residents of PebbleCreek.

Dave started shooting at age four and hunting as soon as he could shoulder a .410 Ga. shotgun. By the time he started high school, Dave was hunting with a bow as well as with firearms—and doing his own ammunition reloading! After graduating high school, Dave joined the Navy where he served as an Aviation Ordnance man aboard the Aircraft Carrier USS America and the Miramar Naval Air Station. Following four years of military service, Dave attended ASU and went to work for the City of Phoenix Water Department. After retiring from the city in 2013, Dave decided it was time to find a job that was a bit more on the fun side and went to work at Cabela’s. He currently works in Cabela’s Gun Library.
