On behalf of the PebbleCreek Bocce Association Board of Directors, President Cheryl Kasselmann has expressed her appreciation to all involved in making the 2017-2018 Bocce Ball Season a success. Special kudos were extended to the Association’s Treasurer and Registrar Mollie McErlean for the countless volunteer hours she devotes to making certain that everyone desiring to play bocce gets registered on a team and that both the Day and Night League schedules are organized in time for the beginning of each season of competition, fall, winter and spring.
Also recognized for her time-consuming commitment is Statistician Carol Gwilt, who is in charge of keeping track of the team standings and arranging for the championship matches for each season of play.
The Bocce Association looks forward to commemorating its 20th Anniversary and hosting a Charity Tournament in 2019. More information about both of these exciting events will be shared in the months ahead.
In order for both current and prospective new Bocce players to plan for the new year, the following information is being provided:
2018 Fall League starts Tuesday, September 25 and ends Friday, December 7.
Early registrations are being accepted over the summer months and must be turned in to Mollie McErlean by September 2.
Regular registration will be held Tuesday, September 4 and Wednesday, September 5 at the Eagle’s Nest Kiosk, 8:00 to 10:00 a.m.
The Captain’s Meeting will be held Friday, September 21 in the Chianti Room at 9:00 a.m.
2019 Winter League starts Tuesday, January 8 and ends Friday, March 15.
Early registrations may be turned into Mollie McErlean by November 23.
Regular registration will be held Monday, November 26 and Tuesday, November 27 at the Eagle’s Nest Kiosk, 8 am to 10 am.
The Captain’s Meeting will be held Friday, January 4, 2019, in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom, 9:00 a.m.
Annual Meeting Only on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom, 4:00 p.m.
Anniversary Dinner on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at the Tuscany Falls Ballroom, 5:00 p.m.
2019 Spring League starts Tuesday, March 26 and ends Friday, May 17.
Early registrations may be turned in to Mollie McErlean until February 23.
Regular registration will be held Monday, February 25 and Tuesday, February 26 at the Eagle’s Nest Kiosk, 8:00-10:00 a.m.
The Captains meeting will be held Friday, March 22 in the Tuscany Falls Chianti Room at 9:00 a.m.
